The food quality has declined and they started charging for takeout containers.The menu and pricing is a jumbled mess so all of the up-charges are a surprise at the till.Not coming here anymore.

WOW, ate there today. It was so good snd huge serving. Had the BBQ pork, veggies and coleslaw. My friend had the same except he had mash potatoes. Wish I lived closer, would go allbthe time. 5 stars for sure.

Came to Lonsdale Market for lunch, saw Sharky’s and got the 1 main, 2 sides. The portion size was huge for a very reasonable price. I got the roast beef with perogies and vegetables. Everything on the plate was absolutely delicious! The beef was melt in your mouth and that gravy was thick and heart warming. My favourite still was the perogies!

My favourite and go to food choice when in North Vancouver. It’s accessible, fairly priced, and large potions! My favourite is their roast beef and stewed pork along with their sides: pirogies and mash potatoes. We tried the sausage and it of course it was delicious. I would recommend visitors to stop by!

Was great..price hike and smaller portions for takeout makes it less good value, at just under $30 for the apparent large premium meal.. You get a LOT on your plate. Mine was enough for 2 and the half meals. 100% the best value meal you can have.

A hearty meal and quite tasty. They always have at least 4 kinds of meat to choose from and at least 3 sides. You can choose mashed potatoes, cheese pierogies, mixed vegetables and sometimes beef stew as your sides. Meats include sausages, teriyaki meatballs, ham, Salisbury steak, chicken, lamb shanks, and others (it depends on the day). I always have perogies and sausages and it's very filling and sometimes I have the teriyaki meatballs and mashed potatoes. You can eat in the quay at a number of locations, even outdoors on the patio.

You get a delicious, well - made plate of a main meat (or two) and up to two sides - all with generous portions for a reasonable price. If you're not comfortable eating in a lively, bustling public market setting it may not be for you, but for anyone else it just adds to the flavor of the meal.

YOU HAVE TO COME HERE IF YOU VISIT VANCOUVER.Im a hunter of value when it comes to food, and this place is it. Not only is it a very reasonable price with generous proportions, the food is delicious!About 16 bucks for 2 meats/2 sides, and ~12 for 1 meat 2 sides, depending on which meat(s) you pick. A buck less if you dont go for the better meat options. I had the roastbeef (they give about 3 or 4 good sized pieces, and Terriyaki meatballs (2 large), mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Magnificient; but I was also hungry.Definitely come here if youre visiting Vancouver, there's the shipyards on one side, and the park on the other, so it is worth the trip for sure.Some suggestions for the owners.The food is great, but hard to get repeat customers since the only sauce available is the gravy, which is great.But if you want repeat local customers, I think you would need to develop at least 3 more sauces, to keep people coming back, by trying the new sauces, and being able to create new combinations with the sides/meats.Having just one more additional sauce would only allow repeat customers to have twice the amount of different combinations in the meat/sides/sauces to mix and match, and 3 would triple it.Some R&D that I think can be done would be to develop your take on Japanese curry, but with a spicy twist for one sauce.Japanese curry is quite sweet, and does not emit an Indian" smell. The taste is also not overpowering

Ten bucks gets you an enormous portion of food, will fill hungry man for dinner. Both the ham and the roast beef were flawless and flavorful. Big variety of meats available here. They also sell meat in bulk for outrageous prices (see picture), BBQ specials.
